Historic offensive tweets England cricket player
A second England cricketer is being investigated for historic offensive tweets although his name isn't being released as he was under 16 at the time

Bowen was under 16 wasn't he?

Apparently its a big name, and he used the word "chinky".

Its a slippery slope etc....

This is all a bit of a fucking joke now isn't it.

Way I see it, sometimes people say things to be controversial without actually meaning what they say.

I heard some nutjob on the radio compare this to Begum, saying everyone should forgive Robinson for his comments but we can't forgive Begum.... The mind boggles.

Re: Historic offensive tweets England cricket player
Yes it’s very similar.

I did try and warn Robinson that being present at beheadings and preaching hate towards Westerners wouldn’t go down well with the ECB.

I think its time these lads showed some balls and just walked out, they are clearly being targetted by the left.

How come Robinson's tweets from 9 years ago suddenly only came to light last week? Who was searching through his SM history and why?

I bet some of you collected the Robinson Jam .. "character" as a nipper? Make sure you erase any record of this and have burnt your collection or expect a visit from the Woke ( Thought ) Police.

Sir Alf 12:06 Tue Jun 8
Re: Historic offensive tweets England cricket player
This Robinson fella... clearly related to the jam manufacturers?

What's needed is proper Salem style trials... Witch hunts ,,,, oh wait... we already have them with the BBC and media and politicians, pressure groups, WOKEsters playing the part of Thomas Newton.

Re: Historic offensive tweets England cricket player
Re Robinson presumably there is someone who doesn't like him who was waiting for the moment to fuck him over.

Having said this, you can of course pay companies to do social media and internet trawls so who knows.

I can understand him being asked to apologise and maybe to be asked to go to speak to young elite players in their teens re the perils of social media.

Banning him from international cricket is ridiculous.

To be honest I thought the Muslim thing was funny and I'm Muslim.

One of the tweets said "the bloke sitting next to me definitely has Ebola". It didn't make reference to race or have a photo (I didn't see one anyway). The references to women were what lots of stupid teenage boys put on SM.

If he'd done it last week then that would be different but a decade ago? The punishment doesn't fit the offence.

Not sure if I misheard this AM on TS… did that fucking idiot Darren Bent suggest he should be banned for life ?? If it wasn’t him someone had said it…

Oh in case I become even more (in)famous than I am now I am very guilty of watching and laughing at Blazing saddles… a fair cop… but society was to blame…

Fifth Column 12:36 Tue Jun 8
Re: Historic offensive tweets England cricket player
Michael Dewberry, ex cricketer, said he should be banned for life. Is that his name?

Blazing Saddles is superb - I showed it to my kids who couldn't believe that film even exists (and found it funny)

Nice gesture in an email from West Ham, offering me the option to OPT OUT from any forthcoming emails referencing Fathers Day, which apparently can be difficult. And a sensitive time.

Re: Historic offensive tweets England cricket player
If Robinson can't grow a spine and stand up for himself then why the fuck should anyone else.

These people who crumble into a sobbing, self-flagellating heap as soon as they are unreasonably accused by political agitators, are a big part of the problem.

Stand up and tell them they are wrong, they are using race to divide society and that they should be the ones to address their behaviour.

Spot on, the worst thing you can do is apologise. They don't back off, they just smell weakness and double down.

Sven…. It was on the radio…. People all look the same colour on the radio…

I'm pretty sure Carlton Cole and Henry Blofeldt don't look the same colour on the radion.
